“There is a King Who is Aware of Every Mask You put on.” Rumi

I explore the theme of visage with photography.

The masks are created by a traditional Tibetan technique. The same used to make Buddhist ceremonial masks. I learned the method while living in Lhasa.

The photos were shot in Lhasa and in Egypt.
